Job Summary:
Nammo Pocal Inc. is looking for an experienced, organized, detail-oriented Tool & Die Machinist to support the tool room operations as well as the Engineering department as needed. Salary Range: $35-$40/hr.
Primary Responsibilities:
Able to operate various types of Toolroom equipment (CNC, Mill, Lathe, surface Grinders, etc.) experience with Fanuc controls is preferred
Must be able to use CAD/CAM software proficiently
Must have the ability to read blueprints, sketches, micrometers, calipers, gages optical comparators and experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine.
Must demonstrate a positive attitude strong, dedicated work ethic.
Design, building, or repair of existing tooling/fixturing will be required in this role
Must be able to work with tolerances of +/-.0001
Tool and machine repair
Tool making, using a variety of equipment
Design and fabrication of new approved projects
Troubleshooting equipment and developing creative solutions to problems
Support production by equipment maintenance and repair
Provides support to the production and engineering departments as needed
Experience with mechanical design for semi-automated production machines
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma and training/Certificate in Machine Shop or degree in engineering
Ability to multitask
Must possess a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in Machine Shop and Tool and Die Making.
Must be able to use Mastercam, auto-cad (Inventor) and SolidWorks fluently
Ability to work under strict timelines and work with the engineering department to create budgeted proposals for new machines or machine repairs.
Ability to work with coworkers of all levels across the company
Must be able to lift 50LBS
