Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Key Qualifications:Valid license and credentials to practice as a Physical TherapistSchool-based experience, especially serving PreK students, strongly desiredPrevious interaction with Special Education (SPED) populations preferredBilingual Spanish speakers are especially encouraged to applyOutstanding communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families Responsibilities:Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to students, focusing primarily on PreK agesCollaborate closely with special education teachers and other related service providersConduct student assessments, write evaluative reports, and assist in developing and monitoring IEP goalsHelp students achieve functional mobility and participation goals within the educational settingEffectively document all interventions and progress notes in compliance with school and regulatory standardsParticipate in IEP meetings and consult with families to support a holistic approach to student development This part-time contract position not only lets you dedicate your expertise to young learners but also offers the opportunity to continue and grow your school-based therapy career.
