In this part-time position, you will provide essential physical therapy support to PreK through adult transition students, helping them thrive in their educational journeys. Qualifications:Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Previous experience supporting PreK, pediatric, or young adult transition populations desirable Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt therapy techniques to individual student needs Familiarity with IEPs and school-based documentation is a plus
Responsibilities:Deliver physical therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs or transition plans Evaluate student motor skills and develop personalized therapy interventions Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student mobility and access Document all therapy sessions, progress reports, and required records accurately Participate in IEP meetings as needed and provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and classroom modifications Ensure a safe, positive, and motivating environment during all therapy activities
