Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity offering specialized physical therapy services to students from PreK through adult transition programs. In this dynamic role, youll work part-time, providing expertise and support for a diverse range of student needs, helping to foster independence, function, and participation in the school environment. Responsibilities include delivering skilled physical therapy services based on students’ individualized education plans, collaborating with educators and support staff, and creating engaging activities to promote mobility and motor skills. You’ll assess physical abilities, develop treatment plans, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate progress with families and IEP teams. Ideal candidates bring a passion for helping students succeed across all age groups and transition stages, along with strong interpersonal skills for working in a collaborative educational setting. Desired Qualifications:Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institutionCurrent state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric/adolescent populations preferredAbility to manage a varied caseload and adapt approaches for different age groups and needsSolid organizational skills and proficiency in maintaining records and documentation Key Responsibilities:Provide direct therapy services to students from PreK to adult transition programsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goalsCollaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student successMonitor, assess, and document progress, making adjustments as necessaryParticipate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student planning Enjoy a meaningful part-time schedule with about 6 hours per week, enabling balance and professional growth while making a difference in students’ lives.
