Substitute Bus or Van Driver

Summary:
The Substitute Bus Driver will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and other designated locations. This is a substitute position and the employee will be called upon to fill in when the regular bus driver is unavailable.

Responsibilities:
- Operate a school bus safely and efficiently while following all traffic laws and regulations
- Ensure the safety of all passengers on the bus
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Follow designated routes and schedules
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
- Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsements (or be willing to obtain one)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Ability to work flexible hours and adjust to changing schedules
