Job Summary:
The Assessments Project Coordinator ensures the timely completion of Assessments projects within budget while meeting the company’s high-quality standards. Additionally, the Assessments Project Coordinator performs scheduling as well as administrative duties, such as maintaining project documentation and handling financial and product queries.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee activities of Assessment team members including Technical Writers and Security Analysts.
Ensures the timely updating of project documentation and time entry in the appropriate Dox Electronics systems by Technical Writers and Security Analysts.
Oversees the process and documentation associated with the creation of Assessment services quotes and scopes of work.
Acts as a liaison with clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives.
Coordinates project management activities, resources, tools, and information.
Creates project plans, identifying manageable milestones and appropriate timeframes to meet agreed-upon deliverables.
Analyzes risks and opportunities and makes recommendations on the appropriate course of action.
Monitors project progress and addresses issues as they arise, including the use of change management tools.
Acts as the primary point of contact and communicates project status to all participants weekly via meetings and progress reports.
Uses tools to monitor working hours, plans, and expenditures.
Creates and or maintains comprehensive project documentation, plans, reports, and “legal” paperwork (i.e., Scope of Work Documents, Hold Harmless agreements, NDA’s, etc.).
Ensures the timely updating of project documentation and time entry in the appropriate Dox Electronics systems.
Maintain engineering resource utilization at 80% or better.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Experience in project management, from Scope of Work creation to delivery.
Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.
Strong organizational skills, including multitasking, time management, and attention to detail.
Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, including Smartsheet.com and Microsoft Project.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or related field or equivalent job experience and training.
Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role.
3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience.
Information Technology background required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
