The Community Education Coordinator Director is responsible for the developing and implementing community education events and programs in the Bristol Bay area. This position also oversees the Women, Infant, Children (WIC) program. Qualifications

A Registered Dietitian. Prefer prior WIC Program experience or experience in a related field such as Maternal Child Health.

Preferred rural Alaska experience educational background.

Must be a self-starter with good managerial skills.

Strong grant implementation experience necessary.

Must possess cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity to growth and development over the life span (pediatric/adult/geriatric) of patients/clients and possess the ability to evaluate patient's/client's condition, interpret patient information, identify patient's needs and provide appropriate age-specific care according to established policies and procedures.

Essential Functions

Works with the Grant Writer to complete the WIC proposal for state funding each year. Administers the BBAHC WIC Program as described in the state contract.

Prepares and submits all program and budget reports required by the state WIC Office and BBAHC in a timely manner.

Provides nutrition counseling for WIC clients. Documents in the WIC SPIRIT computer system as required.

Counsels all high-risk WIC clients at least twice during their certification periods. Develops an individualized care plan.

Develops and implements village outreach plan to increase WIC caseload.

Provides WIC orientation and training for vendor personnel. Monitors WIC vendors in accordance with state requirements.

Develops and implements health education community events throughout Bristol Bay.

Coordinates with other programs to increase outreach in the community.

Responsibilities

Serve as the single point of contact to coordinate sexual assault response when a sexual assault is reported within the installation’s Area of Responsibility.

Act as the designated program manager of sexual assault and sexual harassment victim support services, overseeing local implementation and execution of the SAPR Program.

Provide case management for all reported cases from initial report through final disposition.

Program Management (≈40% of time): manage and evaluate sexual assault awareness, prevention, training, and victim advocacy; assign, monitor, manage, and document victim assistance activities by SAPR VAs; comply with D‑SAACP requirements; advise installation leadership on legislation, policies, and program initiatives; analyze and evaluate program effectiveness; communicate with leadership; develop processes, procedures, and communication strategies; ensure program compliance with authoritative guidance.

Co‑chair the Sexual Assault Case Management Group, presenting all unrestricted reports monthly and ensuring victim needs are met.

Interface with military and civilian agencies, and liaison with departments such as medical, base security, NCIS, Victims’ Legal Counsel, and chaplains to facilitate a team approach.

Provide consultation support for installation‑specific agreements to exchange information between victim support agencies and other commands.

Maintain a comprehensive file of Navy and civilian resources for victims.

Collaborate with local community crisis counseling centers.

Training (≈20% of time): train commands, SAPR VAs, and other personnel using CNIC HQ SAPR curriculum; ensure personnel are properly trained on reporting procedures and victim confidentiality; plan, schedule, and facilitate sexual harassment response training and annual refreshers.

Case Management (≈15% of time): document and maintain records in FFSMIS; track status of the SAPR Program, including trends, areas for improvement, and installation climate.

Oversight (≈25% of time): exercise oversight responsibility for VAs providing victim advocacy services.

Qualifications
To be qualified for this position, candidates must have one or more of the following competencies.

**Summary**

Join our team as an Area Coordinator! In this role, you'll lead key activities across the flock program, including environmental compliance, food safety, emergency disease response, biosecurity, and producer relations. You'll collaborate closely with flock advisors to ensure breeders are on target for weight projections and all producer relation responsibilities are met. You'll also support initiatives that drive program growth, improve operational efficiency, and help achieve departmental goals. **Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

+ Provide Leadership, Training and Coaching to all Flock Advisors to ensure all Perdue Policies and Production Programs are being met. This will be accomplished utilizing MTech Program System, Field Visits, and Phone Communications with both Flock Advisors and Contract Producers.

+ Responsible for the writing and provide explanation and review of their subordinates Performance and Developmental Plan. (PDP).

+ Plan out all meetings necessary to improve producer relationships. These may consist of individual route meetings, farmer dinners, farmer council meetings, and any other meetings deemed necessary.

+ Responsible for the reporting and Monitoring of their Area Goals and Objectives with the Development of Plans with Flock Advisors to Improve Route and Individual Farm Performance through but not limited to Growing Programs, Bird Health, Vaccine Programs, Lighting etc. to improve current situations.

+ Acts as a Mediator of Situations that arise between Flock Advisors, Producers but not limited to Hatcheries, Health Services, Feed mill and the plant to ensure that all sides have a clear understanding of Company Policies, and all disputes are handled fairly.

**Minimum Education and Experience**

+ High School Diploma.

**Preferred Education and Experience**

+ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Poultry Science, Agribusiness Management or similar field.

+ 2 years of breeder experience.

+ Strong communication (oral and written), reading, math and analytical skills.

+ Must have a valid driver's license.

+ Should be computer literate with skills in Microsoft.

+ Must be able to communicate at all levels of the organization.

+ Must be able to travel to other facilities and plant locations.

**Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors**

+ Must be physically able to work in all locations including hatcheries, feed mills, chicken houses and processing plants.

+ Exposed to seasonal weather conditions as well as significant amount of airborne dust, and feathers.

When in a plant environment:

+ Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.

+ May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.

+ May handle products from 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

+ May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.

+ May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, and processing facility.

+ Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.

+ Exposure to chicken manure and associated odors, including ammonia, especially in the production houses.
