Our client, a well-established heavy equipment dealership, is seeking an experienced
Branch Service Manager
to lead service and parts operations for a branch in
California .
This role is focused exclusively on
service execution, customer support, product support, and operational leadership.
The Branch Service Manager is responsible for leading technicians and service personnel, driving service performance, ensuring safety and compliance, and delivering a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
This position oversees
multiple department managers
and is responsible for driving consistency, efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction across both service and parts functions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all
service and parts operations
for the branch, including shop, field service, and parts departments.
Directly manage and develop
multiple department managers
(service, parts, and related support functions).
Drive operational performance, productivity, and accountability across teams.
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Oversee service scheduling, technician utilization, parts availability, and workflow coordination.
Monitor department-level financial performance, including labor efficiency, costs, inventory, and budgets.
Maintain strong customer relationships related to service and parts support.
Ensure accurate documentation, warranty administration, and internal reporting.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance uptime, turnaround time, and customer experience.
Maintain facility condition, shop organization, and overall operational standards.
Communicate effectively with regional leadership and cross-functional partners.

Proven leadership experience managing
service operations
in a heavy equipment, construction, or industrial environment.
Strong understanding of equipment service, product support, and technician workflows.
Experience managing department-level financials or budgets preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, build accountability, and improve performance.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or GED required; college degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
5+ years of relevant industry experience with prior supervisory or management responsibility.
