Position Summary
The Supply Chain Administrator supports the efficient operation of the supply chain by assisting with procurement, inventory management, supplier communication, and data tracking. This role ensures timely availability of materials, accurate recordkeeping, and smooth coordination across internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Use ERP system to assess purchasing requirements for raw materials and production supplies.
Assist with the procurement process, including creating purchase orders, tracking orders, and following up with suppliers.
Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments regarding order status, delivery schedules, and discrepancies.
Process and track approved purchase orders for tooling, equipment, and operational supplies, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation.
Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
Support the analysis and reporting of supply chain metrics, including lead times, inventory turns, and supplier performance.
Help implement supply chain processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in resolving supply chain issues, such as delayed shipments, shortages, or discrepancies.
Maintain documentation, records, and databases to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field preferred.
1–3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or administrative support preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Physical Requirements
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to assist in a warehouse or manufacturing environment as needed.
