What You Will Do
Design engineer supporting Engineering Support to Operations (ESTO) organization – Fan and High Pressure Compressor rotor focus
Work closely with a team of fellow engineers of various disciplines
Support internal and external vendors with engineering evaluations of rotating hardware for all production engines
Hands-on review of parts to aid in manufacturing and producibility improvement
Travel approximately 10%
What You Will Learn
This position is a part of our Engineering Development Program (EDP). EDP participants will complete three to four rotations to build technical breadth and leadership abilities before graduating from the program.
A typical rotation consists of 3 different discipline roles with 8 months each.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience working in the Aerospace Industry within the design and/or manufacturing environment preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, Teamcenter, Unigraphics, Ansys, and classical methods of analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Selected candidate will be automatically enrolled in the P&W Engineering Development Program (Rotational Program within P&W).
Eligible for the Employee Scholar Program on Day 1.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
