
Instructional Design Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Instructional Design Consultant to lead the development of engaging, outcome-based learning experiences.
The ideal candidate will apply industry-standard instructional design methodologies and utilize modern e-learning tools to create impactful training programs across various formats.
This role involves collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure learning solutions align with business goals and learner needs.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct training needs assessments, audience analysis, and content reviews.
Develop instructional strategies, performance measurement tools, and training materials including flowcharts, storyboards, visual aids, manuals, job aids, and user guides.
Design instructional content for instructor-led, online, and web-based learning programs.
Create outcome-based learning objectives for students and instructors.
Write engaging scripts in a conversational, active voice tailored to target audiences.
Use authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and emerging technologies (e.g., AR/VR) to develop e-learning content.
Design audiovisual elements including screen layouts and human-machine interfaces.
Produce course support materials and documentation.
Evaluate instructional programs using formative and summative methods.
Implement mitigation strategies based on evaluation findings.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide instructional design expertise.
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with internal standards and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in instructional design and learning strategy development.
Experience with e-learning standards and courseware development.
At least 2 years of experience using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or equivalent.
Experience with emerging technologies including video and AR/VR platforms.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders in consulting and digital transformation environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications, or a related field.
Experience in consulting or professional services environments.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to grasp technical content and recommend appropriate instructional technologies.
Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent organizational, time management, and project management abilities.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and matrixed teams.A collaborative, dependable, and results‑driven approach to work.
