Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Audio Producer , where you will transform ideas into captivating audio experiences that resonate with our audience. Under the direction of the Audio Production Supervisor, you will create professional‑level audio for both external and internal stakeholders, conceptualizing, writing, and producing audio pieces to promote the messaging of Ministry partners, events, and local public affairs segments.

The role is fully onsite at our Franklin, TN Headquarters. Please include work samples in your application.

Responsibilities

Complete full cycle of spot production projects, including originating creative ideas, project planning, copywriting, and assembling audio elements.

Conceptualize, write, and produce professional network‑quality content, voicing and assembling audio pieces for Ministry partners.

Work closely with internal and external clients, incorporating feedback and copy points to create audio that effectively communicates and connects to target audiences.

Collaborate with the Audio Production Supervisor to ensure spots move efficiently through the production workflow, providing suggestions and adjustments as needed.

Utilize the vCreative PPO website for production order workflow, as well as OneDrive and SharePoint for audio file delivery.

Produce audio projects using Pro Tools and/or Adobe Audition, achieving high production value with professional techniques and plugins.

Maintain professional competency through ongoing development and training, staying current with audio trends and youth mindsets.

Foster courteous, positive interactions among programming, underwriting, traffic, and production departments, and with Ministry partners.

Act as a self‑starter, consistently moving the production line forward.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent education/training with relevant experience.

Minimum of 5 years of digital multi‑track audio production experience, preferably in broadcast media.

Full‑cycle production experience including concept origination, planning, copywriting, voicing, and production.

Hands‑on experience with Pro Tools, vCreative, Adobe Audition, RSC Zetta, and related software.

Demonstrated ability to create and produce high‑quality audio content.

Local and/or national voice‑over experience is helpful.

Collaborative, flexible style with strong service mentality and a team‑player mindset.

Adaptability and problem‑solving skills in a changing work environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and value others.
