Position Description
The Department of Marketing in the McCoy College of Business seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary
ontenured faculty to teach Marketing courses. Temporary
ontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester. Teaching appointments are based upon student demand on a semester‑by‑semester basis. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations during the term period, in addition to continuity of funding and departmental need. Successful candidates may teach at the San Marcos, TX TXST campus, the Round Rock, TX TXST campus, The Houston – San Jacinto College Campus, and/or online, depending on the needs of the academic department. This posting is for the Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2025/2026 semesters. Please note that this posting is not intended to convey that such a need currently exists. Applicants applying for a pool faculty position will be available to the departmental search committee for consideration in case the need arises.
Required Qualifications
A master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching field is generally required.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous teaching experience is preferred.
