This contract assignment spans from June 1st to June 25th. You’ll support students during their summer programming, helping them develop essential communication skills in a school-based environment near Schaumburg, IL. Qualifications & Experience:Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited programCurrent Illinois SLP license or eligibilityASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY consideredPrior experience in school settings or with early childhood populations highly valuedStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to develop and implement IEP goals based on student needs Key Responsibilities:Provide direct speech-language therapy to early childhood and kindergarten-transition studentsConduct assessments, create session plans, and document progress in accordance with school guidelinesCollaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student developmentAdapt communication strategies to meet individual student needs across diverse age ranges and abilitiesAttend team meetings and contribute to a positive, nurturing learning environment Schedule Details:Staff Hours: Monday–Thursday, 7:45 AM – 12:15 PMStudent Sessions:Early Childhood/Pre-K: Session 1 (8–10 AM), Session 2 (10 AM–12 PM)Kindergarten–Transition: 8 AM–12 PM, Monday–Thursday Don’t miss this rewarding chance to make a meaningful impact over an accelerated summer session.
