This full-time, contract-based opportunity positions you at an Intermediate Center working with 2nd to 4th grade students. As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), your specialized skillset will play a pivotal role in enhancing students’ communication abilities and supporting their academic achievements. Qualifications and Desired Experience:Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders or a related fieldCurrent Illinois SLP licenseProfessional Educator License (PEL) certification requiredPrior experience in a school setting is preferred, though not mandatoryStrong collaboration and communication skills Key Responsibilities:Provide therapy and interventions to students in 2nd through 4th grades, targeting areas such as articulation, language, fluency, and social communicationConduct comprehensive assessments to inform individualized education programs (IEPs)Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s goalsMaintain detailed records and document student progress in accordance with district, state, and federal standardsParticipate in team meetings, contribute to evaluation reports, and offer guidance to educators on speech and language development Take advantage of a highly competitive compensation package, paid weekly so you can focus on your passion for making a difference.
