This full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity focuses on serving 2nd to 4th grade students at an intermediate center near Tinley Park, IL. Youll collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to deliver high-quality intervention and assessments that inspire growth and success. Required Qualifications:Masters degree in Communicative Disorders or a closely related field Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement Prior experience or familiarity working in a school setting is highly valued Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students Conduct evaluations, develop individualized educational plans (IEPs), and document progress Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to ensure continuity of care Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations governing school-based therapy Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment tailored to each childs needs
