Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. As a contract SLP, you will provide essential speech and language services to a diverse caseload, working onsite near Cypress, TX. Key Qualifications:Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Texas Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered Experience in school settings and/or with pediatric populations is highly valued Comfortable supervising assistants or Clinical Fellows if you hold your CCCs Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary-age students Manage a caseload of approximately 60 students, typically at one school but occasionally between two locations Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) catering to student needs Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support best outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines Supervise and mentor CFs or assistants if required
