Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years PSYCH RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Exciting opportunities are available for Registered Nurses with strong psychiatric experience to provide exceptional care to patients in an in-patient mental health setting. This 13-week contract role focuses on supporting adults in an environment that encourages healing, safety, and positive outcomes.
Schedule/Hours:Five 8-hour shifts per week (no 12-hour shifts accepted)2nd shift: 2:45pm to 11:15pm Qualifications:Current Registered Nurse license, with eligibility to practice in New Hampshire (must provide a copy of RN license)Two (2) years of recent experience working in in-patient psychiatric/psych settingsBLS certification (AHA and/or ARC required)Proven ability to work effectively and compassionately as part of a multidisciplinary behavioral health team Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing patient monitoring in a psychiatric in-patient environmentAdminister medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adhering to best practicesCollaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other team members to implement individualized care plansRespond to psychiatric emergencies and employ de-escalation techniques as neededProvide support, education, and advocacy for patients and their families, fostering a therapeutic environmentComplete accurate and prompt documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards This role offers a dynamic and supportive workplace where your expertise will make a significant impact on the lives of patients experiencing acute psychiatric challenges.
