Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years PSYCH RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking experienced psychiatric registered nurses with the skills and compassion to provide outstanding care in an inpatient behavioral health setting. This is a contract opportunity working five 8-hour shifts per week, on the 2nd shift. Schedule:2nd shift: 2:45pm to 11:15pm Five 8-hour shifts per week (no 12-hour shifts) 13-week contract Qualifications:Active Registered Nurse license, valid for work in New Hampshire Minimum 2 years of inpatient psychiatric RN experience Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted) Must be able to provide a copy of RN license upon request Demonstrated ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary mental health teams Strong communication, observation, and clinical assessment skills
Responsibilities:Deliver direct nursing care to adult psychiatric patients in accordance with treatment plans Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document all care Conduct clinical assessments and participate in crisis management Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other nursing staff to support quality care Educate patients and families about treatment options and care plans Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements This contract position offers a defined schedule, the opportunity to make a real impact in patients’ lives, and the support of professional colleagues.
