Anderson University’s Office of Admission invites applications for a full‑time, 12 month position as Communications Specialist. The Admission Communication Specialist is a strategic and creative professional responsible for developing, directing, and executing high‑impact communications and recruitment initiatives that support enrollment growth. The Communication Specialist will plan, coordinate, implement communication strategies for the Office of Traditional Admission, including the development of outreach plans, long‑term communication cycles (pre and post events), and messaging that clearly articulates the vision of the university. Serving as the primary point of contact for scholarship competitions and signature admission events, the specialist manages event communications, builds agendas and itineraries, and ensures a cohesive and engaging experience for prospective students and their families. In collaboration with enrollment leadership, marketing teams, and admission operations, this position helps shape future communication strategies, coordinates multi‑channel campaigns, and supports cross‑departmental initiatives, including Online/Hybrid and Strategic Enrollment Partnerships to further cultivate enrollment of new students.

Knowledge equivalent to that gained through a bachelor’s degree is required, and prior work experience in marketing or education, specifically in a college or university setting is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student management software, like Slate or Workday, is desired. An exceptional communicator with strong organizational and time management skills, a keen attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, a demonstrated collaborative mindset, and a commitment to continuous growth and Christ‑focused mission of the university is essential.
