Job Summary
The University of South Carolina Beaufort invites dynamic, creative, and data‑savvy professionals to apply for the role of Admissions Communications Manager — a key position at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and student engagement. Nestled in the heart of the Lowcountry, our Beaufort campus offers a distinctive coastal setting where innovation meets personalized education.
What You’ll Do
Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans that support recruitment and enrollment goals across the student lifecycle.
Drive engagement through targeted messaging, including interest generation, application campaigns, and enrollment funnel communications.
Coordinate and support messaging for on‑ and off‑campus recruitment events.
Leverage analytics and audience insights to refine communication strategies, optimize engagement, and improve outcomes.
Manage and create compelling content for Admissions social media channels and digital platforms.
Write, edit, and maintain web content to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and relevance.
Explore and implement innovative communication methods to connect prospective students with campus resources, services, and key deadlines.
Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of marketing and communication initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
Strong understanding of recruitment strategies and enrollment marketing practices.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Experience with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and content management platforms.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Technolutions Slate or similar CRM systems.
Familiarity with Student Information Systems such as Ellucian Banner.
Knowledge of admissions operations, enrollment cycles, and related policies.
