About the Role
Position: Communication Specialist III – 6‑month contract (W‑2). Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410. The role involves gathering information, documenting processes, and transforming complex information into clear, engaging, visually appealing content for internal communications.
Key Responsibilities
Meet with team members and subject matter experts to collect information and document business processes.
Develop clear, easy‑to‑understand documentation that enhances the department’s knowledge base.
Create and edit articles highlighting team accomplishments and projects.
Apply appropriate taxonomy and metadata to organize content and ensure consistency.
Produce content that inspires engagement, awareness, participation, and knowledge sharing.
Design professional graphics, visuals, and infographics for documentation and articles.
Create content for internal social media channels, digital signage, and other internal communication platforms.
Develop short videos and visual assets to promote important messages and projects.
Ensure all visuals follow the organization’s brand, style guide, and graphic specifications.
Experience with Figma or similar design tools.
Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to promote knowledge sharing and departmental initiatives.
Coordinate and support internal events and campaigns that promote learning, engagement, and collaboration.
Work within tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage tasks, track progress, and maintain documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience creating written and visual content for internal communications, documentation, marketing, or knowledge‑sharing purposes.
Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva) and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).
