Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive, strategically minded Business Development Manager to join our growing Strategic Growth team. In this role, you will own and drive critical components of the new business pipeline, ensuring opportunities progress with urgency, clarity, and strong executive alignment. You will serve as a quarterback on high‑visibility pursuits, proactively removing obstacles, synthesizing inputs into clear narratives, and ensuring deliverables are executive‑ready in advance of deadlines.
The ideal candidate has experience driving business development efforts within a marketing, CX, or CRM agency environment. They demonstrate strong business judgment, critical thinking, and ownership of outcomes. They are comfortable representing the company externally, contributing to outbound efforts, and engaging directly with prospects, while also leveraging Salesforce and related tools effectively.

Position Duties and Responsibilities
Sales Tools, Pipeline & Process Leadership
Own and actively manage the sales pipeline tracking, ensuring data accuracy, clear next steps, defined owners, and timely progression of opportunities.
Leverage Salesforce and prospecting tools to drive pipeline visibility, deal velocity, and informed decision‑making.
Identify process, communication, or ownership breakdowns and proactively implement improvements.
Prospecting, External Engagement & Market Intelligence
Identify and research priority verticals, target accounts, and decision‑makers to inform outbound strategy.
Contribute directly to outbound prospecting efforts, including drafting executive‑level outreach and follow‑ups.
Represent Bold Orange in prospect meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities alongside senior team members to generate new business conversations
Sales Performance & Insights
Monitor pipeline KPIs including engagement, lead sources, velocity, and conversion rates, and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations and reports that improve close rates and overall growth performance.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, operations, or a related field.
7-10 years of experience in business development or agency new business environments.
Demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically, connect tactical execution to broader growth objectives, and operate effectively in ambiguous situations.
Proven track record of independently driving initiatives to completion with minimal oversight.
Experience engaging in client‑facing conversations and supporting outbound prospecting efforts.
Proficiency with Salesforce (Sales Cloud) and related prospecting tools.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and influence action.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and executive presence.
Ability to operate with urgency in high‑visibility, deadline‑driven environments.

$95,000 - $130,000 a year
