Manager, Commercial

to join our team in

St. John's, NL .

In the role of

Manager, Commercial you will be responsible for:

Analyze CPA flight schedules and design efficient flight crew pairings for review and approval.

Develop CPA pilot reserve schedules aligned with forecast demand and operational risk.

Assist the Crew Planning department with implementing the reserve schedule, ensuring compliance with collective agreements.

Review CPA delay coding for accuracy and consistency.

Support the CPA Program Director with reporting requirements and monitoring performance against contractual metrics.

Support IROPs recovery, considering flight crew movements, local constraints (counter/ground staff, security, maintenance), and recovery options with the on-duty Operations Lead.

Document lessons learned and contribute to improvements in CPA recovery playbooks and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline preferred; business degree with quantitative focus or equivalent experience considered.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced excel proficiency.

Ability to work effectively under time pressure in a 24/7 operational environment.

Strong communication skills and confidence to challenge data and assumptions.

Experience in airline CPA operations, operational planning, or operations control.

Experience with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) related to flight and duty time considered an asset.

Experience working with collective agreements a preferred asset.
