Job Summary

We are seeking a Line Cook to join our team at Taos Inn. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with the recipes and guidelines set by the kitchen management team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a keen attention to detail to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently produced.
Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces
Cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
Ensure that the kitchen work area is kept clean and sanitized at all times
Assist with the setup and breakdown of the kitchen line before and after service
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate preparation of food orders
Follow proper food handling procedures and adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications

Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant position in a restaurant setting
Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff
Certification from a culinary school or program is a plus
