FHNN seeks a highly organized, service-oriented Community Manager to support our non‑profit mission of "neighbors helping neighbors." This essential part‑time role focuses on operational execution and consistent and high quality member engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Manage program planning and event logistics for in person and online learning programs.

Organize and host monthly social outings and facilitate community‑building activities.

Provide dependable member support and general correspondence, ensuring compliance with 24‑hour response deadlines.

Provide support with communications, marketing and social media.

Qualifications
Proven organizational and technology proficiency (Google Workspace, CRM) and experience supporting diverse populations, particularly older adults.

Compensation & Details
$25‑29 per hour, commensurate with experience, for an average of 25–30 hours per week.

FHNN is a nonprofit, volunteer organization dedicated to the well‑being of seniors living in and around Friendship Heights, MD. Our mission is to enable seniors to age in place and remain active in their community.

FHNN organizes local volunteers to provide in‑person services that help seniors remain at home and ward off social isolation. We also curate over 370 social, cultural, and educational events a year to provide opportunities for growth and engagement. Help make Friendship Heights a more vibrant, connected community.
