Position
We’re looking for an Electrical Designer for our Corvallis, Oregon office. This person can work out of our Corvallis Jacobs office or any of the Northwest Jacobs offices. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on water and wastewater treatment, conveyance, and river facilities projects where you will play a role in the entire design process including preliminary assessments, concept creation, design, problem resolution, drawing and specification production.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree (AA) in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or a similar technical degree.
Trained in Autodesk AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation software.
At least 2 years working experience in Revit or other 3D modeling software.
Prior experience with BIM processes and parametric design software Autodesk or Bentley.
Proficiency setting up views, view templates, sheets, and schedules for construction documents.
Proficiency printing full sets of construction documents and performing PDF quality control reviews in Bluebeam.
Proficiency design coordinating with other disciplines, parametric and geometric content in 3D.
Preferred Qualifications
Autodesk Revit Certified Professional.
Prior experience actively designing low voltage and communications systems for buildings.
Experience in electrical and low voltage systems design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Salary
The base salary range for this position is $54,100.00 to $108,900.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
