
Localization Program Manager, Design, Development, Delivery (D3) Team

The AWS Worldwide Field Enablement (WWFE) Organization is responsible for end-to-end enablement across all customer facing roles.
Key job responsibilities Concurrently manage multiple end-to-end localization productions that are in different phases such as defining scope, planning to execution.
Drive simultaneous shipping (or “sim-ship”) for some global and regional programs by collaborating both internal and external stakeholders globally.
Provide support for implementing new workflow when enablement or training is developed for a new modality or learning management systems (LMS).
Identify and evaluate opportunities to drive innovation in localization workflows through technology adoption and process improvements.
Assess and pilot new localization tools, including AI-powered solutions, to improve translation quality and reduce time-to-launch.
Analyze workflow performance data and provide recommendations for tool adoption and optimization.
A day in the life A day in the life includes managing localization productions, working on localization initiatives, brainstorming with peers, self-directed development time, and participating in regular team strategic planning sessions.
About the team The Design, Development, Delivery (D3) team is a creative production team focused on supporting Worldwide Field Enablement (WWFE). The team consists of two major roles: 1) Multimedia Experience Designers (MXDs) creating English based rich-media training content & 2) Localization PMs (LPMs) taking the produced content and localizing for a worldwide audience. D3's main priority is on‑time delivery and launch of impactful, high-bar, visually engaging content for our customers. The Localization team within D3 supports our stakeholders in launching localized enablement and training for their global and regional programs.
Qualifications 5+ years of program or project management experience.
5+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
Experience working cross‑functionally with tech and non‑tech teams.
Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines, or experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and reacting with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround.
Preferred Qualifications Direct experience and/or having knowledge of eLearning content authoring, specifically Articulate 360 products (Storyline and Rise), and video editing tools.
Experience evaluating or implementing AI‑powered localization solutions, machine translation technologies, or workflow automation tools.
Compensation The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
