Material Handler - 1st Shift

Job Title: Material Handler
Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday-Friday
Location: Corona
PAY: $20.00 (DOE)

Support and relieve production lines during breaks as needed or while on downtime. Complete material handling duties.

Essential Duties:

• Must be able to operate a forklift and be certified
• Collecting products from the storage/hold areas and safely transporting materials to the shipping bay.
• Receiving and documenting product for delivery or return.
• Keeping an inventory of all products entering or exiting the warehouse.
• Inspects and verifies incoming goods against invoices or other documents.
• Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notifying the supervisor.
• Ensuring that all the products are safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
• Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.
• Follow space requirements and position of shipments in bobtails and 53' trucks based on the layout/position of the shipment provided.
• Prepares shipping and receiving documents accompanying shipments including packing lists, bills of lading, and all other required paperwork.
• Transports products to appropriate storage areas using mobile equipment provided.
• Performs all work in a safety-first mentality and with utilization of IPS lean manufacturing skills.
• Related tasks as requested by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Forklift experience - Sit Down or Stand Up certification
• Prior manufacturing/distribution industry required.
