Job Summary We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Assistant Production Manager to support our Production team in delivering high‑quality installations while maintaining safety, efficiency, and a strong customer experience. This role works closely with the Production Manager to help oversee daily field operations, support installer crews, assist with scheduling and inspections, and ensure projects are completed on time and to company standards. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, field‑focused environment.
Key Responsibilities Field & Installation Support Support the Production Manager in overseeing daily installation activities
Assist with job site visits to inspect work quality and ensure installations meet company standards
Help troubleshoot installation challenges and communicate solutions to field teams
Spend time in the field supporting install crews and service technicians
Team Support & Training Assist in the onboarding and training of new installation and service personnel
Support ongoing coaching and development of installer teams
Help ensure installer certifications and training requirements are met
Scheduling & Operations Assist with maintaining schedule efficiency and meeting production goals
Support install scheduling adjustments due to backorders, service needs, or project delays
Help maintain installation completion rates and productivity metrics
Customer & Cross‑Team Communication Assist with resolving customer concerns related to installation or service
Communicate with internal teams such as Scheduling, Purchasing, and Customer Experience as needed
Participate in meetings related to incomplete or challenged projects to support resolution plans
Administrative & Operational Tasks Assist with documentation, job packets, and reporting as needed
Support equipment, vehicle, and material tracking
Help maintain safety standards and reinforce safe work practices
Support the Production Manager with special projects and daily operational tasks
What We’re Looking For Previous experience in construction, installations, production, or field operations preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable working both in the field and in an office environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
Team‑oriented mindset with a hands‑on approach
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
