The Position
The Body Shop Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the workflow of the collision repair department, ensuring repairs are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills to coordinate technicians, estimators, parts, and insurance partners.

Valid Driver’s License
Proven leadership and team management skills
Ability to manage multiple vehicles and deadlines simultaneously
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Education And Experience
3+ years of body shop management or production management experience
Strong knowledge of collision repair processes and estimating systems
I-CAR certifications are a plus
Experience working within a dealership environment preferred
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage daily production schedule and repair workflow
Monitor cycle time, productivity, and quality control standards
Coordinate with estimators, parts department, and technicians to eliminate bottlenecks
Ensure proper repair procedures and OEM standards are followed
Maintain strong relationships with insurance partners and customers
Conduct quality inspections before vehicle delivery
Track KPIs, profitability, and department performance metrics
Lead, mentor, and develop body shop staff
Maintain a safe and compliant work environment
Physical Requirements
Sitting on a regular basis
Standing on a regular basis
Walking on a regular basis
Bending, twisting and/or stooping on a regular basis
Kneeling and/or Squatting on a regular basis
Lifting over 50 lbs. infrequently
Reaching and/or lifting overhead on a regular basis
Climbing stairs
Repetitive hand/finger movement on a regular basis
Grasping/grabbing with hands on a regular basis
Pushing and Pulling infrequently
