Role Overview
The Communications Operations Specialist serves as the execution engine behind Riverstone’s marketing and communications efforts. This role ensures ideas move from concept to completion by supporting logistics, coordination, and production across internal communications, brand initiatives, and team experiences.

This individual brings organization, responsiveness, and attention to detail to everything from vendor coordination and inventory management to event support and internal reporting—helping the team operate efficiently and deliver high‑quality work.

Core Objective
Enable the Communications team to execute with excellence by owning the operational details, coordination, and production support behind key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Logistics

Coordinate on‑site errands, mailings, and vendor shipments (weekly cadence)

Support procurement efforts including vendor research, communication, and order management

Assist with product ordering, tracking, and distribution

Maintain shared communications / campaign calendar

Coordinate timelines to prevent overlap and ensure proper sequencing of initiatives

Inventory & Product Management

Own & maintain inventory of branded materials (swag, apparel, printed items)

Track and fulfill internal requests (Green Vests, t‑shirts, onboarding kits, etc.)

Ensure organized storage and accurate counts

Ensure cost‑effective vendor selection and ordering

Production Support

Assist with printing, cutting, assembling, and preparing materials for internal and external use

Support execution of campaigns through hands‑on production tasks

Reporting & Tracking

Pull and maintain reports related to programs like Rooted in Riverstone (milestones, distribution, participation)

Help track key outputs across communications and engagement initiatives

Event & Experience Support

Assist in planning and executing internal events, activations, and experiences

Coordinate materials, set‑up, and logistics for events

Cross‑Team Coordination

Help ensure alignment, communication, and follow‑through across shared initiatives

Contribute to creating meaningful, thoughtful experiences that reflect Riverstone’s culture and purpose

Required Skills & Qualifications

Highly organized and detail‑oriented

Proactive and responsive, anticipating needs before being asked

Hands‑on and willing to jump in wherever needed

Strong communicator with the ability to coordinate across teams and vendors

Enjoys bringing structure to fast‑moving environments

Finds satisfaction in helping others succeed and making things run smoothly

Proficient in Microsoft suite

Inventory and materials are always organized, stocked, and accessible

Events and activations run smoothly with no last‑minute scrambles

Vendors and orders are managed efficiently and professionally
