Position Overview Suntrup Ford Westport is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused BDC Agent to manage inbound and outbound sales opportunities. This role is responsible for responding to internet leads, handling inbound calls, and proactively generating appointments for the sales team.
The ideal candidate is organized, driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, performance-based environment.
Key Responsibilities Respond to all inbound internet leads (email, phone, text, chat) in a timely manner
Make outbound calls to follow up on leads, unsold traffic, and previous customers
Set, confirm, and manage sales appointments for the showroom team
Maintain consistent follow-up using CRM (calls, texts, emails)
Ensure all customer interactions are professional, prompt, and aligned with Suntrup standards
Log all communication accurately in CRM
Work closely with sales managers to ensure proper handoff of appointments
Re-engage aged leads and database opportunities
Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPI targets
Performance Expectations (KPIs) Lead response time (speed to contact)
Outbound call volume
Appointment set rate
Appointment show rate
Sold rate from appointments
CRM activity and follow-up completion
Qualifications Previous BDC, call center, or automotive sales experience preferred
Strong communication skills (phone, text, email)
High level of organization and attention to detail
Ability to handle a high volume of leads and multitask effectively
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and competitive mindset
Comfortable working in a structured, KPI-driven environment
