Job Title: CAD Drafter (AutoCAD / MicroStation) – Contract
Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid)
Duration: 12-Month Assignment
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter with experience in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation for a 12-month onsite contract in Tampa, FL. This role will support engineering and design teams by producing accurate, high-quality drawings for infrastructure, industrial, or construction-related projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
Interpret engineering markups, specifications, and technical documentation.
Revise and update drawings based on feedback from engineers and project teams.
Ensure drawings meet company standards and industry regulations.
Coordinate with engineering, project management, and field teams to ensure design accuracy.
Support document control and drawing management processes.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a CAD Drafter.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation .
Strong understanding of drafting standards and technical drawings.
Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and specifications.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Associate’s degree or technical certification in drafting or related field preferred.
