The Receiving Specialist (RS) assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. The RS is responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance.
Primary responsibilities include assisting with receiving the truck, moving freight, pricing items, merchandising product, maintaining a neat receiving area, training new receiving specialists, communicating receiving needs, greeting customers, operating the register, knowing promotions, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications include the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, effective communication, confidentiality, accuracy, organization, interpersonal and listening skills, and a positive attitude.
Physical requirements include lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing and pulling up to 35 pounds, standing for extended periods, bending and twisting frequently, gripping, reaching, pinching, squatting, kneeling, balancing, climbing ladders occasionally, and working in a constant state of alertness.
