The Receiving Specialist (RS) assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. The RS is responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities include assisting with receiving the truck, moving freight, pricing items, merchandising product, maintaining a neat and organized receiving area, assisting with training new receiving Specialists, communicating receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders, greeting and acknowledging customers, operating the register, being knowledgeable of promotions, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications include the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, effective communication, confidentiality, accuracy, organization, interpersonal and listening skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to lift, push, pull, stand, bend, twist, grip, reach, pinch, squat, kneel, balance, climb ladders, and work in a safe manner.
