Overview Indy Film Fest is a 100% volunteer-driven organization founded in 2004. The mission is to create a shared experience around film in Indianapolis by presenting movies that entertain, inform, challenge and expand audience perspectives while reflecting the cultural diversity of the Indianapolis community and beyond.
Role The Indy Film Fest Box Office Managers oversee ticketing, guest check-in, and on-site sales operations.
Pre-Festival Responsibilities Learn ticketing software and reporting processes
Participate in reconciliation and transaction training
Assist with process documentation
Festival Responsibilities Supervise ticket sales and guest check-in
Print and distribute badges
Resolve ticketing discrepancies
Oversee cash handling and daily reconciliation
Manage concessions and merchandise sales
Provide high-level customer service support
Ideal Skills Detail-oriented, comfortable with POS systems, strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage financial transactions responsibly.
