The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) located on Keysight’s campus in Santa Rosa, CA exists to provide mechanical solutions that enable the capabilities of Keysight’s industry leading electronic measurement equipment. As a machinist you will develop and sustain machining processes utilizing cutting edge machine tools such as Swiss Style Lathes, 3 to 5 axis milling centers and multi-axis mill turn machines. Working closely with R&D on microwave applications, you will influence designs for mechanical components and assemblies, ensure design for manufacturability, facilitate release and support production.
This position will require an Expert level Machinist with a knack for precision and detail. In addition, you will interface with Engineering, Maintenance, and Management as well as production Schedulers. You will have the opportunity to operate a variety of precision machining equipment.
CNC Programming/CAM Programming Software
CAD/Solid Modeling
May require some specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be available to work swing shift
