The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) is a collaborative team of engineers, technicians, and manufacturing specialists. We combine traditional and advanced technologies to develop extremely high-precision components that power Keysight's industry-leading test & measurement equipment. We are seeking a Technology Integration Engineer to lead system-level integration across advanced precision manufacturing processes. This role ensures complex, tightly coupled processes operate as a cohesive, scalable system delivering consistent yield, performance, and throughput. This position serves to drive alignment, accelerate problem resolution, and enable stable production ramp across multiple process areas. The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on expertise with strong cross-functional leadership.
Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & System Ownership
Own
end-to-end process integration
across process flow, CTQs, tolerance stack-ups, and cross-process interactions.
Serve as the
technical integrator and escalation point
across machining, special processes, engineering, and equipment teams for complex, multi-process challenges.
Manufacturing Excellence & Optimization
Drive
system-level optimization
of yield, performance, cost, cycle time, and scalability.
Lead resolution of
high-impact, multi-variable manufacturing issues
using data-driven methods (DoE, advanced RCA, process characterization).
Identify and eliminate
structural technical constraints
limiting throughput, stability, and repeatability.
Change Leadership & Transformation
Act as a
technical change agent , challenging legacy approaches and driving step-change improvements in manufacturing methods.
Introduce modern tools, technologies, and methodologies to advance PMTC manufacturing capability.
Technology Strategy & Future Capability
Lead
next-generation manufacturing technology
scoping, development, and integration.
Partner with PMTC leadership on the
manufacturing technology roadmap .
Ensure NPI and production ramps achieve
technical robustness, manufacturability, and scalability
from day one.
Qualifications
Manufacturing Domain Experience
Strong hands-on and systems-level experience in one more precision manufacturing environments, including:
Turning
(Swiss-type strongly preferred)
Milling
(3- and 5-axis)
EDM or comparable high-precision processes
Wet processes
(e.g., Plating, Chemical Milling, surface treatments)
Core Technical Competencies
Deep understanding of:
Process interactions and
tolerance stack-up management
Critical-to-Quality (CTQ)
characteristics and flow-down
Yield drivers, defect mechanisms, and failure modes
Proven capability to translate complex technical problems into
actionable engineering solutions .
Leadership & Problem-Solving Capabilities
Demonstrated ability to lead
cross-functional technical initiatives
without direct authority.
Strong analytical rigor in
root cause analysis, DoE, statistical methods, and data-driven decision making .
Ability to operate effectively in
high-ambiguity, fast-paced, ramp-driven environments .
High bias for action, ownership, and pragmatic execution.
Experience & Background
Typically
10+ years
of experience in advanced manufacturing, precision engineering, or related fields.
Proven track record in:
Yield improvement and process capability expansion
Process integration across multiple manufacturing domains
Production ramps and NPI transitions
Experience leading development and integration of
advanced precision manufacturing processes within a production environment
is strongly preferred.
