Overview
As a Data Management & Governance Lead at EY, you will guide engagement teams in designing and implementing data strategy, tools, and platforms that deliver measurable business value. You will translate client needs into actionable data solutions, orchestrate large‑scale data projects, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple industries.

Responsibilities

Lead engagement teams in the strategic design and implementation of data management tools and platforms, using expertise in data quality, integration, modeling, and cleansing.

Design and execute activities to identify business needs and challenges through capability assessments, diagnostic analytics, solution analytics, and enterprise analytics.

Apply data strategy, governance, definition, quality, and usage principles to identify client challenges and transform their organizations.

Gather and curate AI‑ready data sets across operations and supply chain and analyze them with Enterprise Intelligence.

Integrate analytics and business intelligence to provide solutions aligned with client policies and IT environments.

Establish project plans, delegate tasks, monitor progress, manage risks, and deliver high‑quality client engagements on time.

Prepare deliverables, present findings, conduct quality assurance reviews, and keep stakeholders informed of progress and expected outcomes.

Manage and motivate diverse teams, maintain client relationships, and cultivate business development opportunities.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field and at least 5 years of progressive post‑bachelor work experience; or Master’s degree in a related field with at least 4 years of experience.

At least 3 years of experience advising clients in at least 2 areas across the data supply chain, including information/data governance.

At least 2 years’ experience in one of the following sectors: Public, Utilities, Advanced manufacturing.

At least 2 years’ experience in one of the following cloud platforms: AWS.

At least 2 years’ experience in one of the following data storage/databases: MySQL, MongoDB, HDFS.

At least 3 years’ experience with ETL processes in one of the following tools: Informatica, AWS Glue, Fivetran, Talend, Integrate.io, Oracle Data Integrator, IBM InfoSphere, DataStage.

At least 2 years’ experience in data cleaning and preprocessing with at least one tool: OpenRefine, Alteryx, Talend, Informatica, Tableau.

At least 1 year of program management experience with at least one technology stack: Python, R, Julia, SQL.

At least 1 year of experience in one of the following IDEs: Jupyter Notebook, JupyterLab, RStudio, PyCharm.

At least 1 year of experience in data manipulation and analysis with at least one tool: NumPy, dplyr, data.table.

At least 2 years’ experience in data visualization with at least two of: Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, ggplot2, Tableau, Power BI.

Requires up to 80% travel, of which up to 10% may be international.
