Community Manager
We do not require prior HOA experience; our education company provides a one‑year training program that develops industry‑leading expertise. Candidates must have 8–10 years of professional experience in customer‑service, administrative, or managerial roles and be skilled in communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, vendor management, budgeting, financials, legal matters, and insurance.
Responsibilities
Operate the Same Day Response Policy.
Engage with board members and homeowners.
Manage daily, weekly, and monthly tasks for a portfolio of associations.
Plan and facilitate association board meetings and annual meetings.
Handle vendor relations, including bidding and project management.
Consult with other departments to support communities.
Perform risk‑management, insurance, and litigation support.
Prepare budgets and manage the finances of associations.
Be available for after‑hour emergencies.
Perform additional tasks as necessary.
Qualifications & Expectations
At least 8–10 years of solid work experience.
Ability to attend or chair 30–40 evening board or homeowner meetings per year.
High‑level organizational skills in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and readiness to learn other business systems.
Strong customer‑friendly communication skills.
Basic knowledge of financial statements and budget preparation.
Comfortable public speaking in small and large meetings.
Conflict‑management skills for stressful situations.
Experience gathering bids for large projects and managing those projects.
Customer‑centric, accountable, coachable, team‑player, highly organized, and multitasking capabilities.
Training & Development
Eligible candidates receive an interactive, web‑based learning academy supported by a dedicated mentor and a community of managers at various experience levels. Training covers HOA operations, legal updates, and seasonal topics.
Benefits
Hybrid Empowerment Plan: work out of the local office for the first year, then optional hybrid arrangement.
Starting salary of $57,500 with performance reviews every six months.
Five weeks of paid time off, 11 paid holidays, and 40 hours of paid community‑service per year.
