THE SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (MEP) ROLE
As a Senior Electrical Engineer (MEP), you will lead both the technical delivery and project management of MEP projects from concept through to completion.
You’ll take ownership of design outcomes, client relationships & team coordination, playing a key role in delivering innovative, high-performance engineering solutions.
This role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership & commercial awareness. Ideal for someone ready to step into a more influential position within a growing, high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead electrical engineering and design delivery across complex MEP projects
Manage project scope, programme, and client relationships
Deliver innovative electrical systems aligned with US codes and high-performance design standards
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and buildable solutions
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to design engineers
Support wider MEP leadership in project delivery and resource planning
Ensure quality assurance, compliance, and technical excellence across all deliverables
Represent the business in client, contractor, and stakeholder meetings

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS FOR SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (MEP) ROLE
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
7+ years’ experience within MEP / building services consultancy
Proven experience delivering electrical design on complex building projects
Professional Engineering (PE) licence is essential
Strong project management and client-facing experience
In-depth understanding of US building codes and standards
Experience across healthcare, commercial, or infrastructure sectors
Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills
WHAT YOU’LL GET
$114,951 - $159,339 base salary (depending on experience)
