As a Cocktail Server for Cool Water Pool Bar & Grill at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you will be responsible for the execution of food service and all the components involved at the highest level in the Pool Bar.

What will you be doing?
* Greet guests and explain specials and promotions
* Thoroughly understand the menu, wine list, ingredients, preparation, and expected service.
* Deliver all required Service Accents to the guest (e.g., SSA presentation, bread presentation, horseradish/cheese grating, and dessert presentation)
* Communicate with the culinary and management team throughout duration of shift
* Address and resolve customer complaints
* Must be proficient in multi-tasking, have the ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts, and have the ability to work under pressure
* Record and input guest orders into the POS system
* Retrieve, confirm, and deliver orders with condiments
* Must adhere to all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to insure all laws are being followed
* Replenish beverages and ensure overall guest satisfaction
* Collect payment, thank guests, and invite them to return
* Assist in cleaning and resetting dining room tables and booths during and after meal
* Complete side work and cleaning tasks including restocking and replenishing condiments
* Perform additional duties as assigned
What do you bring to the role?
* High school degree or equivalent preferred
* One year or more of service in a fine dining outlet required
* Handle customer complaints with empathy and provide proactive solutions
* Proficient in English for guest requests, memos, and reservations
* Ability to work POS system
* Cash handling experience preferred.
* Maintain a clean and organized environment
* Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted on occasion as well as move through crowded rooms to seat guests
* Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items
* Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holiday and have reliable transportation to and from work
