Architectural Design Associate About The Role As an Architectural Design Associate, you will contribute to the leadership of the design, documentation, and development of advanced data center facilities within STACK’s Americas portfolio. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and project managers to translate innovative ideas into high‑performance, buildable solutions. This position is ideal for a motivated, detail‑oriented individual eager to learn and grow within a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities Support ongoing initiatives to develop concept design documents for STACK BOD
Provide document management for project issues in Procore and OneSource
Provide administrative support to project teams for meeting minutes, action items, and milestone scheduling.
Support existing facility requirements to include interior design updates, wayfinding, and furniture coordination.
Assist in the evaluation of design concepts, presentations, and detailed architectural documentation for STACK projects.
Prepare project estimates, reports, and architectural renderings following specific design instructions.
Review and evaluate architectural drawings, diagrams, and BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, and other visualization tools.
Support the implementation and evolution of STACK’s global design standards and best practices, including AI‑driven design initiatives.
Participate in design reviews, constructability assessments, and interdisciplinary coordination meetings.
Stay informed on emerging technologies, sustainable design practices, and architectural trends relevant to mission‑critical infrastructure.
Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; 3‑5 years of professional or internship experience in architectural design or a related discipline.
Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Grasshopper/Dynamo, and 3D visualization software.
Strong grasp of architectural fundamentals, building systems, and construction documentation.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Established NCARB record to support eventual licensure.
Preferred Familiarity with data center, industrial, or mission‑critical facility design.
Knowledge of BIM coordination workflows and sustainable design practices (LEED, WELL, or equivalent).
Participation in an architectural internship or professional development program.
Actively working toward architectural licensure (NCARB AXP program participation encouraged).
Compensation Range $94,340.00 - $104,940.00
