NOW HIRING – VAN DRIVER 

The East Central Kansas Area Agency on Aging Meal on Wheels Program is seeking a van driver to deliver meals to participants. Job is in Ottawa, Kansas at the central kitchen. Hours are Monday – Friday, 25-30 hours a week, no nights, weekends, or holidays. Paid vacation, holiday, and sick time. Hourly rate, negotiable based on experience.  

FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES 

This position will pack food for sites on route in accordance with site order. 

Deliver food, supplies, and informational envelopes as requested to sites on appointed route.  

Keep accurate record of time worked. 

Clean delivery containers upon return to kitchen.  

Responsible for reporting van maintenance needs to supervisor. 

Other duties as requested by Food Service Coordinator or Executive Director. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

High school diploma, valid driver’s license with safe driving record, ability to lift 50 pounds, good communication skills, ability to follow directions.  

Delivery vehicle is provided by East Central Kansas Area Agency on Aging.
