Location: 50 Apple Hill Drive, Assabet Building, Tewksbury, MA – 100% onsite; travel between multiple MA sites may be required.
Job Overview
Position: Senior Hardware Design Engineer – Electrical Engineer (Receiver/Exciter & Processing Architecture Department).
Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship required; active Secret clearance required.
What You Will Do
Circuit and subsystem architecture, design, modeling, simulation, and verification.
Integration and test at component, circuit card assembly (CCA), and subsystem levels.
Transition to production and technical support to manufacturing and test engineers.
Occasional travel to suppliers, integration, and customer sites may be required.
Manage small projects or processes within area of responsibility.
1st shift onsite role in either Tewksbury or Marlborough, MA.
Qualifications You Must Have
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Combined experience in two or more of the following areas:
Digital design (requirements development through build and test)
RF/Analog design (requirements development through build and test)
Production testing and troubleshooting circuits
Design simulation tools (e.g., HyperLynx, LTSpice)
Design development tools (e.g., Mentor Graphics Xpedition)
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience interfacing and testing Digital to Analog Converters (D/A) and Analog to Digital Converters (A/D).
Experience with digital high‑speed interfaces such as JESD204B, DDR3, DDR4, SERDES, 10G+ Ethernet, Fiber Channel.
Background in FPGA hardware inference designs (SERDES, LVDS, etc.).
Understanding of translating system requirements to component level.
Knowledge of cost estimating, budget and schedule management.
Experience using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, phase noise analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
Production environment experience.
Technical writing, proposal writing, and oral presentations.
Active or existing Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
