Position Summary
Paper Machinery Corporation is hiring a Manufacturing / Production Engineer to support precision machining and assembly operations. This role focuses on tight tolerances, process improvement, and collaboration with machinists and operators to drive quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and improve manufacturing processes for precision components
Create and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation
Partner with machinists, CNC operators, and production teams to solve
problems
Ensure compliance with tight tolerances and quality standards
Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean manufacturing, waste
reduction)
Support new product introduction (NPI) and production readiness
Troubleshoot and resolve shop floor production issues
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience)
3+ years in manufacturing, machining, or production engineering
Strong knowledge of CNC machining, GD&T, and tight tolerance manufacturing
Experience writing work instructions and process documentation
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement tools
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
