Job Description and Position Requirements
The Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications seeks to hire adjunct instructors in Journalism for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters. These appointments will be part-time, non-tenure track appointments without benefits and no guarantee of renewal. Courses include but are not limited to skills-based courses in print/digital, broadcast, and photojournalism.
The selected candidates should have professional experience. Positions can require a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree or Ph.D. Applicants should submit a short letter of interest with their qualifications, current Curriculum Vitae (CV) and contact information with at least three references. Applications will be received on an ongoing basis and positions filled as needed.
Background Checks / Clearances
Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
