Job Responsibilities:
Organize sample returns and distribute them to their appropriate boxes in the sample room
Maintain and assist with rug and remerchandising displays
Replenish sample boxes and order cuttings as needed
Receive and fill incoming sample request forms, distributing them to employees and clients after completion
Enter new product information into spreadsheets as necessary
Establish new product presentations
Maintain sample room and wing spreadsheets
Remove, print, and add inventory labels to incoming samples
Track outgoing samples and add appropriate data to spreadsheets
Take photos of custom samples and showroom blankets, uploading them to all appropriate channels
Keep the sample room cleaned at all times; trash duties, vacuuming
Occasionally assist with flipping and rolling rugs for delivery and for client viewing
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Must possess a pleasant demeanor, interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task and speak in a clear, articulate manner
Interest in the design industry is preferred
2 years' experience in organizing samples or similar job function
Frequently communicates with coworkers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
Detail oriented, neat, and works comfortably with others
Eager to help
Must be able to lift 15lbs
Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
