Role Summary
Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decisionmaking, policy formulation, or other managerial functions. May collect and analyze data and develop decision support software, services, or products. May develop and supply optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation.
Purpose
To design and deploy advanced mathematical models that optimize complex logistics and cloud infrastructure while ensuring strict compliance with the 2026 EU AI Act and corporate ESG targets.
Impact
Directly influences a 15% reduction in operational carbon footprint and ensures the company avoids regulatory penalties associated with high-risk AI systems.
Team Structure
Part of the Integrated Analytics & Compliance Division, collaborating with Data Science, Legal, and Sustainability teams.
Reports To
Reports to the Director of Decision Science.
Working Conditions
Travel Required: 10%
Standard business hours with flexibility; no weekend or on-call shifts required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
Occasional travel to regional data centers or headquarters.
